Our Unique History
Where this all began.
In the 1970s, the co-creators of the original Burklyn Business School pioneered a new way of thinking about business — and proved it worked by growing their own real estate company from a US$25,000 investment to US$60 million in just three years.
They then built the first-ever Burklyn Business School for Entrepreneurs — originally six weeks in length — so they could teach those principles to other elite entrepreneurs. This program later evolved into what is now the Excellerated Business School® for Entrepreneurs.
Our beloved R. Buckminster "Bucky" Fuller — architect, mathematician, engineer, inventor, and philosopher — taught at those programs for five years. A six-day program called The Future of Business forever embedded his work and his thinking into everything we do. His principles are still at the heart of what we teach today.
Between 1978 and 1985, Tony Robbins taught at BSE after he attended Money & You. He was discovered by the co-creators of this work, and we supported the launching of his career.
Robert Kiyosaki attended Money & You in 1981, became Dame Doria's business partner from 1985 through 1994, attended BSE, and then became our lead instructor — bringing another level of teaching to the environment. Rich Dad Poor Dad — and the principles behind it — trace back to this room.
Dominique Lyone attended in 1989. He became an instructor.
